Hey all, we’ve got a highly requested juicy new feature ready for you to try out. Employees you give permission to can now make edits to their clocked times and/or enter a manual timesheet, from the mobile app.
Employees Can Edit Their Own Time
You can control which employees have access to edit their own timesheet and enter manual timesheets. So, anyone, you don’t give this permission to will still have access to use the Time Clock to clock time (in real-time) as usual.
Once you’ve given permission to specific employees via your Employees screen, they’ll be able to visit the Time Sheet option in the menu in their mobile app. From there they can click on any row of time to make edits to it, or use the ‘+’ button on the top right to add a new row of time.
So what’s the big deal?
We know a lot of you have been bogged down in the office (or in your truck – haha) making mundane simple edits to the time of employees you trust to make those corrections themselves. Well, now you don’t have to do it that way anymore!
Now those employees can make the changes to their timesheet, (or even enter a timesheet at the end of the day if they forgot to clock in and out), and there’s less work for you. That means you’ll now have more time for more important stuff than boring paperwork. It’s our job to keep making your life easier, and your construction or field service business run smoother.

So, this new feature is designed to do exactly that. Save you even more time and money.
And in case you’re thinking, “yeah, but I’d like to be able to review the edits”, we’ve got you covered. You’ll see a record of the edits made right on the timesheet, along with who made them, what was changed and when. So, if you don’t agree with a change, you can easily change it right back.
P.S. – Employees will need the latest version of the ClockShark Mobile App to use the new feature. It’s 2.4.0 on both Android and iOS and is available now in the Google Play Store on Android.
